The other day while listening to one of my favorite podcasts, I heard about this amazing new show called American Genius on NatGeo. Oppenheimer vs Heinsberg and Edison vs Tesla were enough to reel me in, but the show started with an outstanding episode - Jobs v Gates. The episode takes you through their journey into building their empires. From collaboration, scheming, backstabbing, blackmail, and back to collaboration, the episode does a great job of depicting the love hate relationship between Jobs and Gates. Through their ability to see the potential in each other's work, and the work of others such as Xerox and IBM, Apple and Microsoft flourished and became the pioneers of personal computers. Of course, the path towards greatness didn't come easy for either of them and they each faced their own struggles.
If you haven't seen this yet, I certainly recommend it.
